Currently working on a dataset that captures, what kind of microphones are used by the most popular podcasts in Germany and in the USA. The first draft is online, but the Open Science Framework seems to have some issues today…
It is quite a hassle, if you want to use the Zotero plugin in LibreOffice under Fedora Linux (especially when LibreOffice was (pre-)installed via Flatpak). To enable the plugin, the following post was very helpful: Guide to getting Zotero to integrate…
Under Fedora Linux the file location of the extension/plugin (filename: Zotero_LibreOffice_Integration.oxt) is here:
var/lib/flatpak/app/org.zotero.Zotero/current/[$string]/files/share/zotero/integration/libreoffice/Zotero_LibreOffice_Integration.oxt
where [$string] is a long alphanumeric code
This file can be imported in LibreOffice via
Tools -> Extensions -> Add
Lately I am thinking a lot about implicit/tacit knowledge and AI – or more specifically: LLMs. If we agree that LLMs are very capable in textual space, so that the replacement of so-called knowledge workers seem inevidable, I am wondering about tacit or implicit knowlege.
Out in the “meatspace” (i.e. “the real world”) there is probably some knowledge that cannot be explained (and therefore cannot be translated into textual space). You may call it even “intuition”. Is this indeterminateness/incommensurability the “last resort” of the knowledge workers?
